How It Works

01

Your Browser Does the Work

Passwords are generated entirely in your browser using the Web Crypto API. Nothing leaves your device.

02

Breach Database Check

Each password is anonymously checked against Have I Been Pwned using k-anonymity. Only a 5-character hash prefix is sent.

03

Copy & Go

Copy your password with one click. We don't store it, log it, or remember it in any way.

Password Tips

Length beats complexity

A 20-character random string is stronger than a 10-character complex one. Aim for 16+ characters for sensitive accounts.

Never reuse passwords

If one site is breached, reused passwords expose all your other accounts. Use a unique password for every service.

Use a password manager

You only need to remember one strong master password. Let the manager handle the rest.

Enable two-factor authentication

A strong password plus 2FA is exponentially more secure. Even if your password leaks, your account stays protected.

Common Questions

How does SafePass.pro generate secure passwords?

SafePass.pro uses cryptographically secure random number generation to create strong, unique passwords. You can customize the length (8-128 characters) and choose which character sets to include (uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols).

Is SafePass.pro a non-server password generator?

Yes. SafePass.pro is a non-server password generator: passwords are created locally in your browser—not on our servers. Plain-text passwords are never uploaded to SafePass.pro. When you use breach checking, only a privacy-preserving k-anonymity hash is sent to Have I Been Pwned.

Is SafePass.pro free to use?

Yes, SafePass.pro is completely free to use. There are no hidden fees, subscriptions, or premium features. All password generation and breach checking features are available at no cost.

How does password breach checking work?

SafePass.pro uses the Have I Been Pwned API to check if your generated password has been found in any known data breaches. This helps ensure your passwords are truly unique and secure.

Are my passwords stored or transmitted?

No, SafePass.pro generates passwords entirely in your browser. Passwords are never sent to our servers, ensuring complete privacy and security. Only when checking for breaches is a hash of your password sent to the Have I Been Pwned service.

What makes a strong password?

A strong password should be at least 16 characters long, include a mix of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. It should avoid common words, personal information, and sequential patterns. SafePass.pro helps you create passwords that meet all these criteria.
