Privacy Policy
Last updated: December 21, 2025
Introduction
At SafePass.pro, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our secure password generator service. The key principle behind SafePass.pro is simple: your passwords never leave your browser.
Information We Don't Collect
SafePass.pro is designed with privacy-first principles. We do NOT collect, store, or transmit:
- Any passwords you generate
- Your password preferences or settings
- Personal identification information
- Cookies for tracking purposes
- User accounts or login credentials
How Password Generation Works
All password generation happens entirely within your web browser using JavaScript. We use cryptographically secure random number generation (Web Crypto API) to create passwords. No passwords are ever sent to our servers or stored anywhere outside your device.
Password Breach Checking
When you use our breach checking feature, we use the Have I Been Pwned API with k-Anonymity:
- Your password is hashed locally in your browser using SHA-1
- Only the first 5 characters of the hash are sent to the API
- The API returns all matching hashes, and the comparison happens locally
- Your actual password is never transmitted over the network
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This includes anonymous information such as page views, browser type, and general geographic location. This data helps us improve our service but does not include any password-related information.
Third-Party Services
SafePass.pro uses the following third-party services:
- Have I Been Pwned API — For breach checking (privacy-preserving k-Anonymity)
- Google Analytics — For anonymous usage statistics
Data Security
Our website is served over HTTPS to ensure all communications between your browser and our servers are encrypted. Since passwords are generated locally and never transmitted, they cannot be intercepted or compromised through our service.
Children's Privacy
SafePass.pro does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13 years of age. Our service is designed to be used by anyone who needs to generate secure passwords.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
